Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai’s non-oil trade with Kenya during 2016 reached $1.1 billion, senior vice president of commercial services in Dubai Chamber Atiq Juma stated.
Equipment, vegetables, and metal products were the most exported items to Kenya in terms of value, Juma added on Wednesday during a meeting with a delegation from the Kenyan Consulate.
Kenyan companies registered with Dubai Chamber exceed 300, Juma noted.
Dubai Chamber signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) to enhance the mutual relations between Dubai and Kenya.
