Riyadh – Mubasher: Najran Cement Company’s board of directors announced on Wednesday postponing the establishment of a limited liability mining company and a specialised transportation company.

The Deputy Ministry for Mineral Resources currently suspended the issue of mineral licences until new system amendments are implemented, leading to the delay in establishing Najran’s mining company, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

The establishment of the specialised transportation firm was postponed due to the current market conditions, the company added.

The delay will not have a financial impact on the cement company.

Najran’s stock closed at SAR 10.15 on Wednesday, after losing 0.98%.
