Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) fell 0.80% or 80.34 points to reach 10,007.01 points in Thursday’s early trades.
By 9:52 am Qatar time, three sectors dropped, led by the real estate sector with 3.87% as Ezdan Holding Group retreated 5.87%.
The banks sector declined 0.31% after National Leasing Holding (Alijarah), Islamic Holding Group, and Qatar International Islamic Bank decreased 1.27%, 1.21%, and 1.15%, respectively.
The transportation sector shed 0.29% as Gulf Warehousing lost 1.75% and Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd (Nakilat) went down 0.58%.
On the other hand, four sectors rose, topped by the industrials sector with 0.53% after Aamal and Qatar National Cement Company grew 2.91% and 2.26%, respectively.
Liquidity reached QAR 17.18 million, after 844,000 shares exchanged through 383 transactions.
Ezdan was the most active stock in terms of traded volume with 409,320 shares traded, with a turnover of QAR 5.8 million.
