Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait went down 0.66% or 44.54 points to reach 6,687.53 points in the week ended 25 May, compared to 6,732.07 points in the week ended 18 May.

The weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.35% and 0.50%, respectively.

The market cap lost 0.36% or KWD 100 million to total KWD 27.59 billion ($90.71 billion) this week from KWD 27.69 billion ($91.04 billion) in the prior week.

The market’s liquidity shrank 53.1% to KWD 40.28 million from KWD 85.88 million in the past week.

The trading volume decreased by 66.32% to 322.02 million shares from 956.13 million a week ago.

Boursa Kuwait’s transactions totalled about 10,560 this week, down by 51.31% from around 21,690 in the previous week.
