The DFM's investment sector dropped 3.32% in a week

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell for the second week in a row to close at 3,327.13 points in the week ended 25 May 2017, 1.51% or 50.89 lower than in the previous week.

The investment sector dropped 3.32%, dragged by Dubai Investments which fell 3.28%.

The real estate segment levelled down 1.90%, in line with Drake and Scull International (DSI) and Emaar which lost 4.5% and 2.95%, respectively.

The transportation sector retreated 1.88%, impacted by Aramex and Air Arabia which fell 2.17% and 2.80%, respectively.

The DFM’s turnover grew to AED 1.32 billion this week from AED 1.19 billion a week ago, as the trading volume increased to 1.15 billion shares from 975 million.
