Kuwait property sales fall to 8M-low – NBK
The residential sector posted a rise of 36% in sales

Kuwait – Mubasher: The sales of the real estate sector in Kuwait declined in April to their lowest level in eight months, after a sudden activity in March, according to a recent report issued by the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK).

On an annual basis, total sales of the property segment shrank by 30% to total KWD 137 million in April.

The residential sector posted a rise of 36% in sales which stood at KWD 82 million through 288 transactions, the NBK’s report added.

Meanwhile, the investment segment posted its lowest level in seven months, with sales reaching KWD 42 million which was 43% lower than April 2016.
