Tadawul rises, Nomu falls at Wednesday close
Tadawul's traded value reached SAR 3.6 billion

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) went up 0.19% or 13.14 points to close at 6,946.42 points on Wednesday.

Traded value reached SAR 3.6 billion on Wednesday through exchanging 328.3 million shares.

The food retailing sector topped gainers and levelled up 1.2%, followed by the capital goods and media sector by 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively.

On the other hand, the transport and commercial services sectors lost 0.79% each, followed by utilities which decreased 0.36%.

The telecom and banks sectors increased 0.46% and 0.25%, respectively, while the material sector shed 0.04%.

Al Rajhi Takaful led the market’s hikes and gained 4.5%, while Al Baha topped the worst performers and declined 6.9%.

Dar Al Arkan was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 1.67 billion after exchanging 243.88 million shares. The stock closed at SAR 6.92.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market shed 0.26% or 10.55 points to close at 4,088.58 points.

Traded volume reached 66,310 shares at a value of SAR 1.25 million.

Raydan Co led the worst performers and lost 3.4% at SAR 22.50, while Development Works Food rose 11.1% to SAR 93.50 to top the best performers.

Arab Sea was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 327,460 after exchanging 23,260 shares. The stock closed at SAR 14.18.
