Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi minister of energy, industry and mineral resources has ruled out any effect from the diplomatic crisis with Qatar on the OPEC output agreement, as reported by RT.
Khalid Al-Falih also told reporters in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, that he doesn’t expect the political and diplomatic issues with Qatar to affect the deal.
The minister also noted that there is no need to amend the agreement, adding that the recent decline in oil price has resulted from an overreaction to statistical errors.
Al-Falih also indicated that the general approach is to restore the market’s balance.
