DFM ends Sunday down after fluctuations
The investment sector led losers and decreased 1.16%

Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell at Sunday’s close by 0.44% or 15.31 points to the level of 3,444.13 points.

DFM witnessed fluctuation on Sunday as a result of profit-taking which were notable on the stocks of the investment, transport, and real estate sectors, technical analyst Gamal Abdul Hamid told Mubasher.

The investment sector led losers and decreased 1.16% after Dubai Investments lost 1.83%.

The transportation sector shed 0.84% due to a 2% decrease in Gulf Navigation Holding and 1.92% in Air Arabia.

The real estate sector went down 0.53%, weighed down by Emaar levelled down 0.88%.

The analyst expected that the main index would stay stable at 3,435 points in the coming sessions, trying to experience the level of 3,462 points, which by breaking through it, the index will proceed to the levels 3,478 and 3,505 points, respectively.

Investors are anticipating the insurance stocks to interact, especially after the news of good profits posted by the sector, Abdul Hamid added.
