BHB closes Monday in red zone
The banks segment retreated 0.66%

Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) edged down 0.5% or 6.6 points to close Monday’s trading session at 1,316.52 points.

The market’s trading value grew to about BHD 491,230 on Monday from nearly BHD 198,600 in the previous session, after the trading volume increased to 2.45 million shares from approximately 574,600.

The banks segment retreated 0.66%, dragged by NBB which lost 2.99%.

The investment sector levelled down 0.58%, in line with the 4.6% fall of ABC.

Meanwhile, the services segment gained 0.09%, backed by Seef Properties which rose 0.83%.
