Tadawul, Nomu end Monday on positive note
Traded value reached SAR 4 billion on Monday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) levelled up 2.4% or 165.14 points to close at 7,046.53 points on Monday.

Traded value reached SAR 4 billion on Monday through exchanging 147.96 million shares.

The food retailing sector advanced 3.8%, followed by the capital goods which went up 3.2%.

The banks, material, and telecom sectors increased 4%, 2.1%, and 1.97%, respectively.

On the other hand, the media and healthcare sectors shed 0.45% and 0.02%, respectively.

Banque Saudi Fransi led the green zone and gained 7.7%, while Wafa Insurance topped losers and declined 7%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market added 1.2% or 46.44 points to close at 3,948.91 points.

Traded volume reached 137,710 shares at a value of SAR 15.4 million.

Development Works Food led the worst performers and fell 2.9% to SAR 8010, while Thob Al-Aseel Company hiked 7.1% to SAR 64.50.

Thob Al-Aseel was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 3.36 million through exchanging 54,500 shares.
