Mubasher: The main index of the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) closed Tuesday’s trading session higher after it had been declining for four consecutive sessions.

The banks segment gained 0.50%, on the back of NBB which levelled up 2.31% to be the only winner.

Meanwhile, the services sector was the only decliner with 0.34%, dragged by Batelco which lost 0.78%.

The market’s turnover stood at about BHD 217,330 after 953,850 shares were traded.

Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 470,000 shares were traded, while AUB posted the highest liquidity of KWD 139,000.
