Tadawul, Nomu end Tuesday in red
Traded value reached SAR 2.7 billion on Tuesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) levelled down 1.3% or 93.86 points to close at 6,952.67 points on Tuesday.

Traded value reached SAR 2.7 billion on Tuesday through exchanging 122 million shares.

The utilities sector topped the best performers and advanced 3.57%, while the retailing topped the worst performers and fell 1.37%, respectively.

The banks led the worst performers and decreased 2.2%, followed by the food retailing and transport sectors by 2.1% and 1.3%, respectively.

The material and telecom sectors fell 0.98% and 0.95%, respectively.

The media and capital goods increased 2.3% and 1.2%, respectively.

Samba Financial Group led the red zone and declined 5.1%, while Tihama topped gainers and hiked 6.4%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market lost 1.5% or 60.76 points to close at 3,888.15 points.

Traded volume reached 188,240 shares at a value of SAR 5.76 million.

Development Works Food led the worst performers and decreased 2.6% to SAR 81, followed by Raydan Co which lost 2.6% to SAR 21.60.

Raydan was the most active in terms of traded values and volumes with SAR 2.94 million through exchanging 134,140 shares.
