Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Boursa Kuwait started Wednesday’s trading session 0.08% or 5.91% lower at 6,777.47 points.

Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.64% and 0.66%, respectively.

By 11:30 am Kuwait time, the consumer services sector led decliners with 2.34%, dragged by Eyas which lost 6.25%.

Meanwhile, the healthcare segment was the only gainer with 11.04%, on the back of Al Mowasat which rose 19.8%.

The market’s turnover amounted to KWD 5.34 million after the trading volume stood at 17.45 million shares traded through 734 transactions.

KFH was the most active stock on which 2.22 million shares were exchanged at a value of KWD 1.10 million.
