QSE surges 138.92 pts at Thursday’s open
Trading volume reached 1.39 million shares with a liquidity of QAR 40.07 million

Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Thursday in the green zone after growing 1.58% or 138.92 points, reaching 8,916.65 points.

By 10:03 am Qatar time most of the sectors levelled up, with the exception of the insurance sector which inched down 0.07%.

The banks sector went up 2.15% after Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding and Al Khalij Commercial Bank rose 5.07% and 4.39%, respectively.

The telecoms sector gained 1.9% as Vodafone Qatar grew 3.56% and Ooredoo levelled up 1.57%.

The industrials sector increased 1.35% after Aamal and Industries Qatar rose 2.61% and 1.74%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 1.39 million shares with a liquidity of QAR 40.07 million through 659 transactions.

Qatar First Bank’s (QFB) stock led in terms of traded volume with 453,060 shares exchanged, while Qatar National Bank’s (QNB) stock was the most active in terms of trading value with a turnover of QAR 8.77 million.
