Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 1.2% or 84.04 points to reach 7,418.91 points at Thursday’s open.

By 10:39 am KSA time, 49.13 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 1.27 billion.

The retailing sector advanced 2.4%, followed by the banks and material sectors which went up 1.2% and 0.4%, respectively.

The utilities sector fell 1.2%, followed by the telecom and food sectors by 2.4% and 1.8%, respectively.

Saudi Arabian Mining (Ma’aden) led the gaining stocks and hiked 9.9%, while the Saudi Telecom Co (STC) led losers and levelled down 1.1%.

Moreover, the main index (NOMU) of Nomu-Parallel Market opened Thursday up 0.92% or 34.56 points at 3,803.40 points.
