TASI hikes to 20M high, Nomu jumps 1.2%
Traded volume on Nomu reached 122,900 shares

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main index of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) levelled up 1.2%, or 90.85 points to close at 7,425.72 points on Thursday, registering its highest level in 20 months, or since 21 October 2015.

Turnover amounted to SAR 7.53 billion on Thursday compared to SAR 9.96 billion on Wednesday, while trading volume reached 288.92 million shares, down from 387 million shares.

The utilities sector led gainers with 3.8%, followed by food retailing sector with 3.5%.

The telecom and banks sectors went up 2.7% and 0.7%, respectively, while materials sector declined 0.05%.

Saudi Arabian Mining (Ma’aden) led the rising stocks and hiked 9.4%, while Tasnee led losers and levelled down 3%.

Meanwhile, the parallel market index, Nomu, added 1.2% or 46.27 points to close at 3,815.11 points.

Traded volume on Nomu reached 122,900 shares at a value of SAR 3.64 million.

Four stocks rose, led by Al-Omran Industrial Trading with 11.2% to reach SAR 23.5, followed by Baazeem Trading with 1.96%, while Thob Al-Aseel Company declined solely with 0.28%

Thob Al-Aseel led in terms of liquidity with SAR 1.18 million, while Raydan led in terms of trading volume with 45,340 shares.
