Bahrain Bourse sheds 1.06% in week
The services sector lost 0.67%

Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Bahrain Bourse fell 1.06% or 14.06 points to 1,312.96 points during the week ended Thursday, 22 June.

Traded value increased to BHD 2.62 million versus BHD 2.27 million the week before, whereas traded volume fell to 9.235 million shares from 12.27 million.

The hotels and tourism sector dropped 2.64% after Gulf Hotels Group slid 3.7%, while the banking sector declined 1.23% on the bank of Ahly United Bank – Bahrain (AUB), which shed 2.14%.

The services sector lost 0.67% after Batelco retreated 2.34%.

On the positive side, the industrial sector grew 1.73% on the back of Aluminum Bahrain's (ALBA) 1.78% gain.
