Despite the positive performance seen in the past week, investors trading at the GCC markets are forecast to be cautious during the coming period in line with the disclosure of the financial statements of the first half, capital market analyst Doaa Farouk said.

The recently unstable geopolitical situation will be one of the major factors to affect the markets, capital market analyst Nayef Al-Anzi said.

He expected blue chips, namely in the petrochemical sector, of the Gulf markets to witness a remarkable entrance by some portfolios in line with the improvement of oil prices, as well as the disclosure of first-half financials.
