EIBank appoints new CFO

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Investment Bank (EIBank) has appointed Imad bou Khouzam as the chief financial officer (CFO), where he will lead the finance, operations, and IT departments.

Bou Khouzam brings over 24 years of experience in banking and finance in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Lebanon to EIBank, a statement to the stock market said on Wednesday.

Bou Khouzam's experience includes 15 years with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) in senior leadership roles as chief financial officer and chief operating officer covering the UAE, Qatar, and Lebanon. He has also worked for Scotiabank, Metropolitan Bank S.A.L, Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, and KPMG.

“Imad is an invaluable addition to our team of seasoned finance and banking experts. The wealth of experience he brings with him, having built and managed the finance, compliance, and risk functions of reputable regional and international institutions across the Middle East, will add further depth to our offering and the way in which we serve our clients,” Khaled Sifri, CEO of EIBank, said.

On his appointment, bou Khazem said, “Emirates Investment Bank enjoys a niche position in the private banking industry.
