Bahrain Bourse closes in green for 2nd day in row
The main index closed at 1,317 points

Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse ended Wednesday’s trading session on a rise, in the back of blue chip stocks.

The main index went up 0.41% of 5.32 points, and closed at the level of 1,317.14 points.

As for the market sectors’ performance, the banks sector added 0.46%, as Al Salam Bank rose 1.1%.

The investment sector gained 0.43%, as GFH increased by 1.72%, while the industrial sector gained 0.39% as Alba levelled up by 0.40%.

The services sector went up 0.3%, as Al Seef proprieties led today’s gainers and rise 2.46%.

Traded volumes shrank to 1.78 million shares down from 2.9 million shares yesterday, while values declined to BHD 498,900 from BHD 662,320.

Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) registered the highest turnover with BHD 325,000, while  Khaleeji Commercial Bank was the most active in traded volumes with 675,310 shares.

According to the data of the Bahraini Bourse, the market capital reached BHD 7.92 billion at the close of Wednesday’s session.
