Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark EGX30 index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose at Monday’s open by 0.91% or 125 points to the level of 13,940.9 points.
Similarly, the EGX70, EGX100, and EGX50 indices grew by 0.22%, 0.49%, and 0.94%, respectively.
By 11:00am Cairo time, trading volume reached 130.3 million shares exchanged at EGP 283.4 million through 6,400 transactions.
Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers by EGP 11.8 million and EGP 17.2 million, while Egyptian traders EGP 29 million.
Juhayna ascended 5.3%, Porto Holding advanced 5.26%, and Oriental Weavers levelled up 3.47%.
Heavyweight Commercial International Bank – Egypt rose 0.76% to EGP 88.
Meanwhile, Palm Hills, Arabian Cement, and Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals fell between 1.51% and 0.29%.
