Dubai – Mubasher: Accredited energy service companies have launched energy efficiency projects worth around AED 200 million in 2016, according to a press release.

The projects are expected to deliver annual electricity savings of 95 gigawatt hours and water savings of 210 million imperial gallons (MIGD). 

Around 2,000 buildings will benefit from retrofitting of energy saving measures, according to RSB’s 2016 annual report.

The emirate witnessed growth in the energy efficiency market in 2016, reflecting the growth of this promising sector.
