Mubasher: The price index of Boursa Kuwait closed Tuesday’s trading session 0.18% or 12.2 points higher at 6,813.11 points; the highest level in a month.

Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices levelled up 0.5% and 0.34%, respectively.

The market will register a positive performance if the price index settles above 6,825 points after breaking the 6,800-point level, technical capital market analyst Ibrahim Al-Filkawy said.

The real estate segment topped gainers with 0.58%, backed by Sanam which rose by 15%.

Meanwhile, the insurance sector led four decliners with 2.02%, dragged by Warba Insurance which lost 13.2% to be the top loser.

The market’s liquidity increased to KWD 17.92 million on Tuesday from KWD 14.87 million in the previous session, after the trading volume grew to 92.57 million shares from 78.31 million.

Agility recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 3.08 million, rising 3.84% to its highest level in eight years.
