Kuwait – Mubasher: The price index of the Boursa Kuwait declined at Wednesday’s open by 0.41% or 27.7 points to the level of 6,785.43 points.

By 09:27am Kuwait time, the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices also retreated by 0.2% and 0.15%, respectively.

Trading volume reached 16.83 million shares exchanged through 519 transactions, making a turnover of KWD 2.27 million.

The consumer goods sector fell 4.8% as Eyas for Higher and Technical Education shrank 16.5%.

On the other hand, the financial services sector rose 0.18% as Al Mal Investment topped gainers after adding 20%.

Al Imtiaz Investment Group led the trading activity with a volume of 7.43 million shares and a turnover of KWD 1.28 million.
