Mubasher: Investors are expected to build up new positions in GCC listed stocks on Thursday, in line with the announcements of first-half financials which are expected to improve amid higher oil prices, analysts told Mubasher.

The GCC stock markets are expected to recover amid anticipation for the remaining first-half financial results, financial analyst Mohammed Al Shammari said.

Financial disclosures of blue-chip companies will control the markets’ performance on Thursday and next week,  Al Shammari added.

The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) sees resistance at 7,300 points, technical analyst Hamed Al Anqari said.

Tadawul targets to reach 7,800-8,100 points on the medium term, Al Anqari added.

Boursa Kuwait may see fluctuations between 6,900 and 7,000 points next week, the technical analyst said.
