Dubai – Mubasher: Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) has been awarded a multi-storey carpark project in Dubai, in joint venture with McLaren Construction, according to a statement.

Offering 2,800 parking spaces, the car park is coming up opposite the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in Dubai.

The five-storey project will feature two helicopter pads offering VIP access, in addition to hosting multiple large-scale external LED advertising screens.

Started in March 2017, construction of the car parking structure is expected to take 12 months to complete and will cover a built-up area of 89,000 square meter.

“Visitors to DWTC and surrounding venues can soon expect improved access and reduced congestion, especially around high profile events, as the new project contributes to the ongoing development of infrastructure in the area,” according to Kareem Farah, director and COO of ECC.
