Mubasher - Kuwait: The board of Boursa Kuwait has promoted Talal Fahad AlGhanim as the new chairman, after the resignation of Mohammad Al Saqqaf, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has approved the resignation of the former chairman, who withdrew from the board for personal reasons.

Khaled Abdul Raziq has also resigned from his duties as vice chairman but will continue in his role as CEO, as the bourse is seeking to assure governance principles and the separation between the supervising and executive branches of the board.

The statement revealed that Saad Faisal Al Motawaa has been chosen as the new vice chairman.
