Mubasher: The main index of Boursa Kuwait closed Monday’s trading session 0.33% or 22.5 points higher at 6,822.18 points.

Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went up 1.31% and 1.74%, respectively.

The oil and gas segment topped gainers with 1.91%, on the back of Energy House which rose 5.9%.

Meanwhile, the consumer services sector led decliners with 0.89%, dragged by Muntazahat which levelled up 2.4%.

Sharjah Cement was the top winner with a gain of 10.4%, while Sanam led losers with a decline of 20%.

The market’s turnover grew to KWD 25.04 million on Monday from KWD 21.4 million on Sunday, after the trading volume increased to 139.07 million shares from 119.3 million.

NBK recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 3.72 million.

Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 14.4 million shares were traded, rising 1.75%.
