Cairo – Egypt: The Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) on Thursday decided to suspend City Stars Brokerage Co. temporarily for a year starting from 25 July, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

The firm is prohibited from benefiting from the EGX's trading systems and the services and facilities offered by the stock exchange, in accordance with the EGX's membership committee's decision No. 13 of 2017, dated 2 March 2017, EFSA added.

The suspension decision was taken in conformity with the company’s extraordinary general meeting held on 29 December 2016, in accordance with Article 33 of the capital law.
