Mubasher: The GCC stock markets are expected to see a sideways-to-bearish performance on Tuesday, amid anticipations of second-quarter financial results.

Traders are monitoring the movement of liquidity amid anticipations of blue-chip companies’ first-half financials, which will affect the markets’ performance in August, capital market analyst Nawaf Al Ajmi said.

The current liquidity is rotational yet not new, reflecting investors’ cautious trading, Al Ajmi noted.

Some traders are pressuring down the prices of some stocks, Al Ajmi said.

Investors should be cautious when it comes to pumping new investments and choose stocks with good solvency, capital market analyst Hamoud Al Azmi stated.
