The liquidity pumped into the UAE stock markets is still weak

Dubai – Mubasher: The UAE stock markets are expected to continue their profit taking trend on Thursday in line with investors’ anticipation of more quarterly financials’ disclosures of leading companies, mainly Emaar Properties, analysts told Mubasher.

The UAE bourses registered a strong performance since the beginning of revealing the companies’ income statements, and it is normal to witness a correction movement, capital market analyst Muhannad Mesbah said.

The liquidity pumped into the UAE stock markets is still weak and in decline; however, the markets are trying to hold, the analyst added.

If the turnover remains at its weak level, the main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) will drop to the 3,600-point level, capital market analyst Salem Al Newairy said.

The analyst noted that the DFM is forecast to regain its active performance next week.
