Tadawul closed Sunday down after 5 rises
The main index lost 0.23% and closed at 7,148 points

Riyadh - Mubasher: The Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the first session of the week in a decline, after rising for six consecutive sessions, while the Nomu-Parallel Market rose for the second day in a row.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) lost 0.23% or 16.43 points, and closed at the level of 7,148.21 points.

Traded values declined to SAR 2.94 billion ($784 million), compared to SAR 3.2 billion ($853 million) in the previous session.

Similarly, traded volumes went down to 160.5 million shares by the end of Sunday, compared to 167.75 million shares on Thursday.

As for the market sector indices’ performance, eleven sectors closed in red, led by the health care sector which fell by 2.43%, while banks and materials slipped 0.62%, and 0.04%.

On the other hand, the remaining sectors closed in green, led by REITs, which surged 4.17%, while telecom went up 0.7%.

Tadawul saw 87 stocks end the session on a decline, led by MedGulf as it dropped 9.96% to the level of SAR 13.74, its lowest in 15 months, after the company reported a jump in losses, while Amana was the biggest gainer and surged 9.9%.

Alinma was the most active in both traded values and volumes with 20.88 million shares, and a turnover of SAR 341.82 million.

NOMU down 0.97%

Meanwhile, NOMU ended the session down by 0.97%, losing 33.22 points, closing at 3,407.62 points.
