Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Monday’s trade in red, for the second session in a row, pressured by the decline of most of the market sectors’ indices.

The Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) went down by 0.32%, losing 22.74 points, and closed at the level of 7,125.47 points.

Traded volumes in the main market reached 146.61 million shares, with a total turnover of SAR 2.93 billion, through 94,870 transactions.

As for the market sectors, 17 sectors closed in red, led by media and publishing that decreased by 4.2%, followed by commercial services with 2%, and food with 1.5%.

The materials and banks sectors also slipped 0.34%, and 0.24%, respectively.

Only three sector indexes ended the session in the green zone, as real estate gained 0.7%, while telecom and healthcare levelled up by 0.07% each.

MedGulf led the decliners as it dropped 9.9%, while Amana Cooperative Insurance was today’s top gainer as it surged 9.93%.

Alinma was the most active on both traded volumes and values with 22.41 million shares, and turnover of SAR 386.7 million.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market recorded its third consecutive decline, as NOMU lost 0.37% or 12.67 points to clost at 3,394.95 points.

Traded volumes in the parallel market amounted to 107,910 shares, with values reaching SAR 2.92 million, and the number of transactions standing at 175 transactions.
