TASI, Nomu close Wednesday up
The REITs, telecommunication services, banks, and materials sectors rose 5.2%, 0.58%, 0.47%, and 0.01%, respectively

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday in the green zone after gaining 0.35% or 25.11 points to reach 7,128.35 points.

The Tadawul All Share Index’s (TASI) trading volume reached 136.3 million shares on Wednesday, against 177 million shares on Tuesday, while trading value slid to SAR 2.64 billion ($704 million), from SAR 3.28 billion ($875 million).

The REITs, telecommunication services, banks, and materials sectors rose 5.2%, 0.58%, 0.47%, and 0.01%, respectively.

On the flipside, the media sector decreased 2.63%, and the utilities sector went down 1%.

Mediterranean and Gulf Cooperative Insurance and Reinsurance’s (Medgulf) stock surged 9.9%, registering its highest level in nine months, or since 13 November 2016, whereas Saudi Research and Marketing Group’s stock declined 3.25% to SAR 64.

Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development’s stock led in terms of trading volume after 21.7 million shares were exchanged, while Al Inma Bank’s stock was the most active in terms of traded value with a turnover of SAR 299.6 million.

Meanwhile, the main index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market levelled up 0.65% or 21.93 points, reaching 3,399.71 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock rose 2%, closing at SAR 24.48, whereas Development Works Food’s stock fell 5.83% to SAR 63.
