Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The revenues of Abu Dhabi’s non-profit organisations sector rose 19% during 2016, according to a report by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD).

Revenues increased to AED 701.8 million during 2016, from AED 590.1 million during 2015, the SCAD added.

Year-on-year, the added value reached AED 305 million, compared to AED 308.4 million.

The value of this sector's production, including total expenses with the exception of capital expenses, levelled up 12.9% in 2016 to AED 635.6 million in 2015, compared to the same period in the prior year.

Administrative and general expenses amounted to AED 276.4 million in 2016, making up 41.6% of total expenses in 2016.
