Mubasher: Standard and Poor's (S&P) have maintained Qatar’s sovereign credit rating at AA-, and revised outlook to negative from credit watch negative, according to a recent report.

The ratings agency expects the ongoing boycott of Qatar’s economy will lead to slower economic growth and hamper fiscal and external performance.

S&P attributed the negative outlook to the potential consequences of boycott on Qatar’s economic, fiscal, and external metrics.
