Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the week on Thursday, 14 September, in green, backed by Dana Gas and Aldar stocks.

The Abu Dhabi General Index (ADI) rose 0.62% or 27.48 points to 4,481.19 points during the week.

Market capitalisation gained AED 2.74 billion ($746 million) to AED 431.55 billion as compared to AED 428.81 billion the week before.

Turnover dropped to AED 1.10 billion versus AED 1.22 billion, while the trading volume rose to 904.69 million shares from 126.38 million shares.

The telecommunication sector slid 1.11%, as Etisalat’s stock fell with the same percentage.

The energy sector rose 2.36%, on the back of Dana Gas with 1.2%, while the real estate sector rose 0.34%, as Aldar’s stock gained 1.31%.
