Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates NBD on Sunday said it was planning to approach the Saudi Monetary Agency (SAMA) to discuss expanding its presence in the kingdom, group CEO Shayne Nelson told The National.

Dubai’s largest bank by assets is looking to expand in the kingdom by adding 20 branches, the top official revealed.

Emirates NBD has not increased its branches in the UAE for several years.

Around 92% of Emirates NBD’s transactions go through its digital platforms, the top official revealed, noting that the bank was planning to invest around AED 1 billion in digital services.
