TASI down, Nomu up early Wednesday
The pharmaceuticals, media, materials, and banks sectors went down 1.3%, 1.2%, 0.7%, and 0.4%, respectively

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Wednesday in the red zone after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.39% or 28.89 points to reach 7,322.26 points.

By 10:54 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 21.1 million shares, through 15,220 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 530.63 million.

The pharmaceuticals, media, materials, and banks sectors went down 1.3%, 1.2%, 0.7%, and 0.4%, respectively.

On the other hand, the diversified financials sector increased 0.8%, followed by consumer durables and apparel with 0.2%, and telecommunication services with 0.01%.

Saudi Cement Company’s stock led TASI’s losers with 4%, whereas Tourism Enterprises Company’s (Shams) stock was the best performer with 2.7%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of Nomu-Parallel Market levelled up 0.74% or 25.32 points reaching 3,445.86 points.

Baazeem Trading’s stock grew 0.6%, whereas Thob Al-Aseel Company and Al-Kathiri Holding Company stocks’ fell 1.8%, and 0.11%, respectively.
