Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed on Wednesday in green, backed by the rise in all sectors.
The main index grew 0.71% to 8,348.05 points, gaining 58.82 points.
The real estate sector led gainers with 0.96%, backed by Barwa Real Estate, which rose 3.4%.
The banks sector also went up 0.76%, influenced by the surge in Qatar Oman Investment by 4.6%.
The industrial sector also grew 0.55%, on the back of five sectors, topped by Qatar National Cement with 3.2%.
Turnover hiked to QAR 331.12 million from QAR 241.09, while trading volume shrank to 10.42 million shares versus 16.63 million shares.
Istithmar Holding’s stock, up 1.05%, came first in terms of trading volume with 1.96 million shares, while QNB achieved highest liquidity with QAR 95.78 million, rising 0.40%.
