Riyadh – Mubasher: Ticket prices will not be impacted by the gradual reduction of fuel subsidies during 2017 and 2018, spokesperson of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdullah Alkhareef said.

Ticket prices have a certain ceiling price, they rise by specific ratios annually, and their prices will be left to supply and demand in 2019, Aleqtisadiah newspaper reported citing Alkhareef as saying.

International fuel prices are low currently, which means that if governments apply fuel subsidies, such subsidies will not not be large, Saif Al Suwaidi, the director general of the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), said.
