Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the week on Thursday, 21 September, with its Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) dropping 0.64% or 46.85 points to 7,326.32 points.
TASI lost 0.76% of traded value, or SAR 13.3 billion ($3.55 billion), reaching SAR 1,725.97 billion ($460 billion), while trading volume hiked 21% to 785.5 million shares from 648.8 million shares.
The telecommunication sector led the gainers with 1.77%, followed by the Real Estate Investment Traded Funds (REITs) with 1.62%, the banks with 1.06%, and the materials with 0.16%.
The utilities sector topped the gainers with 0.95%, followed by the retailing sector with 0.95%.
On another note, the benchmark index (NOMU) of the Nomu-Parallel Market rose 1.38% or 46.66 points, closing at the level of 3,439.26 points.
However, NOMU traded value slid to SAR 8.9 million from SAR 11.4 million the week before.
