Mubasher: The benchmark price index of Boursa Kuwait started Sunday’s trading session 0.11% or 7.7 points lower to reach 6,841.37 points.

Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices went down 0.16% and 0.23%, respectively.

The main index is being supported at 6,822 points and 6,795 points, while its resistance is at 6,853 points, 6,868 points, and 6,885 points, respectively, capital market analyst Mohamad Al Anzi told Mubasher.

By 9:40am Kuwait time, the telecom segment led decliners with 0.67%, dragged by Viva and Zain which lost 1.1% and 0.75%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the financial services sector topped gainers with 0.15%.

Boursa Kuwait’s turnover amounted to KWD 6.2 million after 29.5 million shares were exchanged through 840 transactions.

Gulf Bank of Kuwait (GBK) recorded the highest liquidity of KWD 1.61 million, falling 0.4%.

Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 7 million shares were traded, rising 1.14%.
