Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session with a decline; the price index lost 0.79% or 53.84 points to reach 6,795.27 points.
Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated by 1.12% and 1.27%, respectively.
The financial services segment led decliners with 1.6%, dragged by Amwal which lost 12.86% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the consumer goods segment topped gainers with 0.92%, backed by Livestock and Americana which gained 1.85% and 1.01%, respectively.
Metal and Recycling topped the winners with a rise of 19.15%, after it resumed trading on Sunday.
Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity shrank by 7.2% to KWD 26.25 million on Sunday compared to KWD 28.27 million in the previous session, after the trading volume decreased by 9.4% to 126.38 million shares from 139.42 million.
Al Imtiaz was the most active stock on which 21.24 million shares were traded at a value of KWD 3.8 million, up 1.14% to close at 178 fils.
