Cairo – Mubasher: The French company Vallourec has signed a contract with Badr Petroleum Company (Bapetco), a subsidiary of Shell, to supply approximately 60 to 70 gas wells of ‘Bapetco’ project in Egypt’s western desert with steel pipes, according to a statement.
The manufacturing company has not revealed the value of its contract with Shell.
Bapetco is a joint project between Shell and the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
By 9:00 am GMT, Vallourec’s stock fell 1.86% to EUR 4.18.
