Dubai – Mubasher: International logistics and delivery company DHL Express has announced that it will raise its annual rates in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

This rise will be effective as of 1 January 2018, according to a company statement.

For shipments up to 300 kilograms in the UAE, the average rate will increase by 4.9%, DHL explained.

The rise in the annual rates enables us to make the necessary investments to meet our customer expectations, said Geoff Walsh, DHL Express UAE country manager.

The global logistics firm noted that it carries out regular price increases annually, while taking economic indicators such as inflation, currency fluctuations, and other costs and expenses into account.

DHL Express operates in over 220 countries worldwide.
