The main index went up 1.42% or 119.79 points to 8,569.26 points.

Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended the Tuesday’s session in green, backed by the rise in all sectors.

The main index went up 1.42% or 119.79 points to 8,569.26 points.

The industrial sector topped the gainers with 2.53%, backed by the rise in all stocks, led by Gulf International with 9.09%.

The real estate sector rose 1.49%, after a hike in all stocks, topped by Ezdan with 2.19%.

The banks sector also grew 0.36%, as Dlalah Holding witnessed a 2.59% rise.

Turnover hiked to QAR 289.5 million from QAR 178.57 million, as trading volume increased to 12.43 million shares, from 7.58 million shares.

Qatar Investment, rising 4.77%, had the highest trading volume, with 3.7 million shares, with QNB achieving the highest turnover at QAR 52.89, going up 0.4%.
