Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday in the red zone after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) retreated 0.75% or 54.87 points to reach 7,228.14 points.

By 10:36 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 36.31 million shares, through 14,100 transactions, generating SAR 708.87 million.

The materials, real estate management and development, banks, and telecommunication services sectors fell 1.1%, 0.9%, 0.9%, and 0.15%, respectively.

On the other hand, the consumer services sector rose 0.1%, and diversified financials sector inched up 0.03%.

Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes’ stock led TASI’s losers with 2.9%, whereas Malath Cooperative Insurance Company's stock was the best performer after surging 9.96%.

In the meantime, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, slipped 0.1% or 3.51 points reaching 3,359.40 points.

Baazeem Trading’ stock declined 4%, whereas Raydan Co’s stock went up 1.1%.
