Mubasher: Boubyan Petrochemical said that the stock accumulation period for purchasing Educational Holding Group’s shares will start on Tuesday, 10 October, and will end on 9 November.

The accumulation process will be as 308 fils per share, based on Boubyan’s proposed offer, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.

Last week, Educational Holding stated that the offer proposed by Boubyan Petrochemical regarding the compulsory takeover on Educational’s shares is considered fair at 308 fils a share.

Late September, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has approved to publish the document of the acquisition offer by Boubyan to purchase the remaining 46.2% stake in Educational Holding.

It is noteworthy that Educational Holding owns a capital of KWD 24.53 million, distributed on 245.30 million shares at a par value of 100 fils each.
